Scalloped Potatoes and Ham

Preheat oven to 350 degrees
You will need the following:
3-4 cups sliced potatoes
1/2 to 3/4 lbs of ham diced or sliced small
1 onion sliced

Layer potatoes, ham and onion in casserole dish.
Sprinkle potatoes, ham and onion with 2 Tablespoons
of flour then dot with about 3 to 6 Tablespoons of butter.

Heat, don't boil 1 and 1/4 cups of milk, add pepper, dash of salt,
1/4 Teaspoon paprika, add little dry mustard. Stir well while heating.

Bake with cover on casserole dish for the first 1/2 hour. Remove cover and continue to cook for another hour. The casserole will be done when slightly browned on top and potatoes are soft.

  2. Actually, it is from Mom's recipe box. I remember calling her one time and she got her recipe out and gave it to me over the phone. I made it for New Year's Day one year when the girls were young, but I have made it since then too!
