Virgie Purcell's Broccoli Dish

I have two recipes in Grandma's and Mom's handwriting, both are missing some of the comments to the side, so I decided to write it out. I love this recipe and have made it many times!

Heat oven to 350 degrees

You will need........
2 pkg. of frozen broccoli , you can used shredded or whole broccoli spears, your preference(cooked 5 minutes)
2 chicken breasts (or more, already cooked) and cut into chunks
1 can Cream of Chicken Soup
1 can Cream of Celery Soup
1 cup of water to mix with soup prior to adding to recipe
1/2 to 3/4 cup Miracle Whip, depending on how much chicken you use
1 teaspoon curry powder, I use Alot more, depends on your liking for curry....
1 teaspoon lemon juice
1/2 to 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese or longhorn cheese
1/2 cup buttered bread crumbs
Place broccoli, chicken, soups, Miracle Whip, curry powder , half of the cheese and lemon juice in a casserole dish. Mix ingredients together.
This cassarole will take about 30 to 45 minutes to cook, depending on how much chicken is used.
Ten minutes, before done cooking, sprinkle the top with butter bread crumbs and the remainder of the cheese. It should be done and ready to eat when the cheese has melted over the top.
